Top European Brands Adopt Unica for Web Analytics

WALTHAM, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- Unica Corporation (Nasdaq:UNCA), a leading global provider of enterprise marketing management (EMM) solutions, today announced that top European brands including Banco Santander, Michelin, Generali, Sofinco, LexisNexis, Varta, McVitie's (manufacturer of United Biscuits), VisitBritain, Airmiles, Inkclub, Crestock, 888.com and Random Logic have all adopted Unica's enterprise-class web analytics solution, Affinium NetInsight, as part of their customer marketing strategies.


As the internet is starting to overtake some of the more traditional marketing channels in importance across Europe, marketers are turning to web analytics to provide them with the insight to analyze and understand the online behaviour of their customers. Marketing organizations that wish to differentiate themselves through integrated strategies across online and offline channels are facing a challenge, however. Due to disparate data silos across the enterprise, they often contact customers using conventional marketing means - such as direct marketing and telemarketing, but fail to recognize when these same customers visit their website.
