PDV launches mobile phone lead screening service
PDV, the UK?s fastest-growing online lead generation company, has launched mobile phone lead pre-screening to ensure each number it delivers is live, is on a phone network, has been switched on within 24 hours and is not connected to a data device.
The screening service is also available for companies to use on both their own mobile phone number database and on mobile phone number lists sourced from the majority of suppliers who do not pre-screen.
?We believe our ability to check for data devices is unique and it can save companies with automatic diallers thousands of wasted call and operator minutes each month,? says Bill Burey, MD of PDV.
?If a call centre?s automatic dialler calls a data device such as a fax, modem or computer, it ties up the line for one or two minutes. However, the typical dialler will be on a ten-time-retry profile, so 1,000 connections to data devices in a month would cause around 20,000 wasted calling minutes. This has caused call centres major problems,? Burey explains.
The PDV Mobile Clean software which is now added as a default to all its mobile leads, can also be bought as a service, costed on a decreasing-cost-per-1000-numbers-checked basis.
?As we have to physically ping the mobile network for each number we check, we have to charge per number. The screening can be applied whether calls are being dialled manually or automatically.
?Until now, cost has deterred even some quality-focussed marketers from carrying out either mobile or landline screening, but now it?ll all be part of the PDV lead supply service, ? says Burey.
