'Dogan Telekom offers content delivery services with Edgecast'
(DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Turkish provider of telecommunications services Dogan Telekom has contracted content delivery network EdgeCast Networks to offer EdgeCast content delivery services to its customers. This agreement will open EdgeCast's worldwide content delivery network to Dogan's customers, enabling any Dogan customer to provision media streams, benefit from edge storage and caching, and ensure high-speed delivery via any of EdgeCast's sixteen points of presence around the world. Dogan customers can now stream their content using points of origin including North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, rather than the past model of originating all streams and served files from their servers in Istanbul.
