DIGITALK (News - Alert), a company established in 1996 in the UK, is introducing its first fully integrated, Mobile VoIP Client at ITEXPO East 2012 going on now at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
DIGITALK delivers platform solutions to competitive communications service providers and has deployed hundreds of installations to customers ranging in business size. Its solutions specialize in enabling service providers to rapidly roll out innovative services and features. DIGITALK began focusing on its mobile VoIP services and has created a device that extends the mobility of a Voice over IP network.
DIGITALK’s new VoIP service will run on their Consumer Platform, which is the company’s core service delivery environment for pre and post-paid consumer applications. This platform allows users to put money on a prepaid card and/or prepaid residential applications to use the service. This service permits operations and enterprises to use the networks operators to deploy and launch its communication services quickly, efficiently, and at a low-cost. Consumers that use the service will have access to DIGITALK’s Wi-Fi and 3G/4G network.

The Mobile VoIP Client is compliant with the Session Initiation Protocol (News 
- Alert) (SIP), which is used for controlling communication sessions such as voice and video calls over the Internet. The new service also supports G.729 and G.711 codecs and has a setting that will allow users to decide if they want the information encrypted. The new service will be available in both the Apple (News - Alert) App Store and the Android Market – making for a quick download and easy installation for almost all smartphone users.
