TMCnet's IP PBX Week in Review


Looking at some of the top IP PBX (News - Alert) stories of the past week, TMC had the news that SimpleSignal (News - Alert), Inc., a California-based provider of Hosted PBX solutions and cloud-based voice applications for small and medium sized businesses, has introduced Ron Ireland as company’s new senior vice president of Finance and Business Development.


Ireland brings in exclusive work experience with previous positions in banking and consumer finance, adding up knowledge and competency in growth management, finance, strategic planning, and operational efficiencies.

He is a leader in the telecom and VoIP industry, having guided a leading nationally certified reseller through several business cycles, achieving growth and profitability in every year of his tenure.

The company has assigned Ireland to manage SimpleSignal’s day-to-day financial operations as well as taking a significant role in business development. In addition, Ireland is in-charge of introducing SimpleSignal’s products to a larger indirect channel audience and for helping the company to manage its rapid growth.

Also, TMC’s Calvin Azuri noted that Grandstream Networks (News - Alert) is celebrating a decade of business excellence, innovations, and growth within the IP telephony industry. Grandstream, within the last ten years, has expanded its business reach across the globe and is counted among the leading providers of innovative range of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions which have been designed to deliver users with advanced functionalities in a cost-effective way.

Officials said that the company will be exhibiting the new system at ITEXPO East 2012 in Miami.

With the help of the newly announced Allworx 6x12 Phone System, small offices with up to 12 employees will now be able to utilize the cutting-edge features that larger companies have been using for years. Some of these features include: VoIP and traditional phone line support, key systems features, unified messaging, unlimited call routes, presence management, call assistant with TAPI, conference center, mobile link and call queuing.
