Eyeball Networks (News - Alert) has expanded its North American presence with a wholly owned US subsidiary, Eyeball Networks US LLC and two new US offices.
The two new offices are located in San Francisco and Seattle.
“We're very happy about our improved ability to service the needs of our US and international customers,” said Chris Piche, chief executive officer, Eyeball, in a statement.
“Borders have never impeded our ability to deliver solutions and support, but everyone knows if you really want to understand your customers, you have to live in the same neighborhood,” said Piche.
David Buechner, vice president at Eyeball said that Eyeball provides VoIP and VVoIP embedded and infrastructure software to many companies that call San Francisco and Silicon Valley home.
“Our new location in San Francisco positions Eyeball geographically within the hotbed and burgeoning community of mobile communications development that is taking place in the valley,” said Buechner.
Eyeball Networks is a provider of infrastructure software and developer tools for enabling service providers, application developers, and device makers to deliver carrier-grade VoIP, VVoIP, and instant messaging services.
Recently, Eyeball Networks announced that it is partnering with Vertical Communications (News
- Alert) to deliver soft phone technology to Vertical's Wave IP Business Communications System. Eyeball was selected as a technology partner by Vertical to enhance its platform and deliver a fully unified communications experience as part of the Wave IP solution.
Wave IP's unique Application Ready architecture means Vertical's Unified Communications (News - Alert) capabilities and suite of voice applications are available 'on-box' so they can be easily deployed and managed without expensive add-on software. Eyeball's Messenger SDK enables soft phone calling features, which are bundled into the Wave IP system.
Earlier in January, Eyeball had announced the update of its Eyeball Messenger Software Development Kit (SDK) to support tablet computers and mobile devices using Android (News - Alert), iOS, and Windows 7 operating systems.
