JeraSoft and Appcore Cloud Partnership Enables VoIP Carrier Suite Billing Service

When it comes to cloud services, the range of applications, services and products available to end-users is truly staggering. Cloud computing continues to evolve as significant investments in the cloud are being made by many of the world’s leading companies. Cloud features, such as scalability and on-demand resource allocation, are fundamental to why an increasing number of small companies and large enterprises are incorporating the cloud into their business.

Over time, JeraSoft, a developer and integrator of high-quality billing software, has steadily increased its investments in the cloud as well as partnered with major global companies on cloud-based initiatives. These investments reflect not only the importance of this technology trend, but they indicate where the future of computing may be headed. For example, user demand for access to cloud-based content and apps via dedicated and mobile devices is constantly on the increase.

JeraSoft has just announced its partnership with Appcore, a global cloud infrastructure provider, to cloud-host its VoIP Carrier Suite (VCS) software. The new VCS billing software by JeraSoft takes advantage of all the benefits that a cloud-based provider offers. For example, cloud computing can make a variety of computing services available to companies of all sizes on an ‘as-need’ basis.

In the case of VCS, cloud hosting enables scalability so that as traffic increases, JeraSoft is only charged for the resources it uses. This provides cost savings due to the elimination of hardware purchases. Instead, Appcore’s cloud hosting easily accommodates drastic changes in traffic.

In terms of high availability (HA), the cloud provides consistency through redundancy and failover processes. The cloud also enables easy server configuration and migration to minimize downtime as well as providing capabilities to update JeraSoft’s VoIP Carrier Suite to new version releases. Building a cloud that meets everyone’s expectations—individual users, SMBs, enterprises—is a constant work in progress.

However, it’s apparent that the Appcore’s cloud hosting services enable JeraSoft to take advantage of a number of innovations. The company not only gains a secure, stable, and flexible system, it retains the capability to access new enhancements and bring them online as JeraSoft’s VoIP Carrier Suite continues to mature.
