VT iDirect (News - Alert), Inc., a Herndon, Virginia-based company engaged in developing satellite-based IP communications technology, announced the results of its 2011 Customer Satisfaction Survey.
Based on the survey, the company reported an increase in their consolidated customer satisfaction rating. This is the sixth consecutive year that the company has achieved this customer satisfaction success.
A press release revealed that iDirect scored more than 90 percent in all the key categories including hardware, software, order fulfillment, sales staff, and culture and values.
Committed to provide outstanding support to its global customers, iDirect conducts a customer satisfaction survey each year. The initiative is aimed at measuring customer satisfaction on every area of the company's operations including hardware, software, sales, services and technical support. The survey shows that iDirect has been able to consistently increase its overall satisfaction rating, as well as individual ratings in several areas.
The company said that it has set several new standards of excellence by achieving a 93 percent rating for hardware products, a 94 percent rating in order fulfillment and a 90 percent rating for services.
iDirect’s satellite-based IP communications technology has been designed to enable constant connectivity for voice, video and data applications in any environment. The company provides broadband access solutions to the telecommunications carriers, enterprise customers and military and government organizations, through its vast network of global partners.
Using iDirect’s platform, the partners are allowed to extend private networks to remote offices, support mobile connectivity across land, sea and air, providing high-speed broadband access anywhere in the world.

Last year iDirect forged a reseller agreement with XipLink (News - Alert), Inc. to offer Web and UDP (News - Alert) optimization solutions. The new optimization solutions was designed to work with the company’s line of satellite hubs and remote routers to enhance the end-user's Web browsing experience, enable increased voice call volume, as well as provide overall bandwidth savings for network operators.
