Network solutions provider ADTRAN (News
- Alert) announced it has been selected as a 2012 Best Channel Vendor in VoIP by Business Solutions magazine (BSM).
The recognition was given based on a Web-based survey conducted on BSM’s most active VAR subscribers. They were asked to rate their vendor partners on a scale of 0-5, zero being the worst and five the best. There were 10,833 votes in total. BCM partnered with Penn State University to capture and analyze the data to ensure statistical accuracy.
ADTRAN scored “standout” ratings in three categories -- service, support and channel friendliness. The company also scored 4.79 out of 5 in product reliability, which according to ADTRAN, is one of the highest scores recorded in the survey.
ADTRAN provides solutions to service providers, private enterprises, government organizations and millions of individuals. The company offers a comprehensive array of switches, routers, IP business gateways, UTM, IP phones, virtual WLAN and unified communications solutions to its reseller network.
These network products and technologies enable voice, data, video and Internet communications across a variety of network infrastructures. Through its ADvantage Partner Enablement Program, the company provides them a set of tools and a clear roadmap to succeed in the market.
"Channel partners serve as a critical pillar to ADTRAN's success, and we dedicate an immense amount of attention on specialized programs and resources that enable partners to resell ADTRAN products successfully," said Ted Cole (News - Alert), vice president of channel sales, ADTRAN, in a statement.
