Looking at the IP PBX (News - Alert) news for the past week, TMC reported that network solutions provider ADTRAN (News
- Alert) announced it has been selected as a 2012 Best Channel Vendor in VoIP by Business Solutions magazine (BSM).
The recognition was given based on a Web-based survey conducted on BSM’s most active VAR subscribers. They were asked to rate their vendor partners on a scale of 0-5, zero being the worst and five the best. There were 10,833 votes in total. BCM partnered with Penn State University to capture and analyze the data to ensure statistical accuracy.
ADTRAN scored “standout” ratings in three categories – service, support and channel friendliness. The company also scored 4.79 out of 5 in product reliability, which according to ADTRAN, is one of the highest scores recorded in the survey.
TMC (News - Alert) also noted that in the communications space, it’s no secret that an IP PBX system is beneficial to organizations of any size. An IP PBX system is easier to install, easier to maintain, it has many low-cost advantages, requires no additional wiring and, above all, it’s scalable.
One could say that it is simple, so much that SoTel Systems (News - Alert) offers just that – its SoSimple solution. The SoSimple Usage Program from SoTel gives businesses the opportunity to upgrade to a VoIP solution that is chock full of features.
With no capital investment, businesses can offer customers a unified communications (UC) suite that brings convenience and a reduction in network cost.
And TMC had the news that G3 Connect, LLC, an associate of Pervasip Corp., has announced a collaboration with Access Sales Group or ASG. G3 Connect’s videophone along with the mobile VoIP applications of Pervasip will be now introduced in the consumer electronics retail market by ASG.
In a release, Mark Satterfield, co-founder of Access Sales Group said, “G3 Connect is a leading innovator in videophones and VoIP and we recognize a huge opportunity in the market for their unrivaled video quality and network.”
With a wide-ranging network of more than 100 sales representatives in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico, ASG reports revenue sales of more than $1 billion each year. Retailers like Best Buy, Radio Shack, Amazon.com, Target and Staples (News - Alert) are clients of the company.
