Vocera (News - Alert) Communications, Inc. is all set to introduce Vocera Connect, a new software solution that can be used with phones, including the Cisco Unified Wireless IP Phone 7900 Series, iPhones, Android (News - Alert)-based phones and BlackBerry devices.
Backed by Vocera System Software v4.3, the new application offers instant, intelligent communications capabilities of the Vocera Communication System, and highlights staff communication as well as improved operational workflow and response times.

Not only this, users can also receive and send messages from smartphones, web-based consoles, or integrated third-party clinical systems. The Vocera Messaging solution can help eliminate unreliable pagers and replace unsecure SMS messaging, according to the company.

- Alert) Unified Wireless IP Phone, Vocera Connect enables caregivers and support staff to be connected in order to improve patient satisfaction and reduce response times.
Vocera Connect for Smartphones extends these capabilities to iPhone (News - Alert), Android and BlackBerry devices so that care providers can use their existing smartphone device to leverage the benefits of the Vocera System for immediate communication.
