GotVoice (News - Alert), Inc., the voice messaging company, is announcing voicemail server support for IP-based voice systems.

The company is publicizing its ability to easily interface directly with any VoIP or IP-based service provider to convert voicemail into text without requiring changes to existing infrastructures.

“We have already partnered with a number of IP-based telephony companies including SimpleSignal, IPhiphany and CallTower to bring their customers a secure and seamless solution for integrating with disparate voice messaging systems,” said Curt Blake, CEO of GotVoice. “Additionally, our voicemail-to-text technology has been trained against millions of voicemails – and is unrivaled by competitors in quality and price – helping our partners to enhance user productivity for its customers at a price they can afford.”

GotVoice G2 (News - Alert) allows voicemail from disparate systems to be unified – and utilizes advanced free-form speech recognition technologies to transform messages into text with accuracy and speed.

Its patented communications platform is the first to unify mobile, home, PBX, VoIP and IP-based PBX voice messages, allowing users to read or listen as digital audio to all of their voicemail, using email, a mobile phone, or the Web.

For the first time, digital phone carriers from cable companies, business and residential VoIP as well as IP-based PBX providers including: Comcast, Vonage (News - Alert), Cbeyond, CallTower, Time Warner Cable, SimpleSignal, Packet8, RingCentral, New Global Telecom, Inc. (NGT), Charter Communications, Cablevision and IPhiphany can provide customers with quality voicemail transcription and a single solution for unifying voice mailboxes at a lower price point than is available anywhere else in the world.

“Our customers are busy SMBs who value productivity and demand accuracy,” said Dave Gilbert, president of SimpleSignal. “Combined with our advanced voice services, GotVoice’s solution allows our customers to manage their business from any location on any device.”

The GotVoice G2 Platform is capable of supporting millions of users with its carrier-grade, high-quality transcription engine built for scalability and interoperation with all major voice and VoIP carriers. The solution has already accessed tens of millions of messages from legacy voicemail servers, including landline and wireless carriers including: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile (News - Alert) and others.

With GotVoice, carriers have an economical and effortless method for integrating their subscribers’ voicemail as both text and digital audio files via email, SMS, Web and API, creating additional revenue streams and increased data traffic. The GotVoice solution is available today to carriers and IP communications providers via OEM, APIs, White Label and Hosted Solutions.
