United Seal to Deploy Zultys MX250 Media Exchange IP-PBX System

Zultys, Inc., a company that works in open standards IP communications and telephony products, reportedly is eyeing a solution for Alliant DataTel, Inc. for United Seal & Rubber, a minority custom and standard rubber products supplier.

Zultys supplies Open Standards IP technology for IP-PBX (News - Alert) systems.

United Seal & Rubber Co., Inc. must replace its aging phone and voice mail platforms. Atlanta-based Alliant DataTel was chosen by United Seal for replacing older PBX and voicemail servers with Zultys MX250 media exchange.

Shirley Waters, controller of United Seal stated, “Alliant installed the hardware in a couple of days, held training sessions before we went live on the system. In addition to an enhanced phone system with dynamic features, we can also send and receive fax information to our desktops. We have an IM feature that is available to the users of the company.”

Waters said that users can just answer their phone through their PC without touching the stylish Aastra (News - Alert) handset. Wireless headsets may also be provided for the users. The company will benefit from real-time history reports which are readily available. The new system allows making changes to the phones besides adding, editing and deleting users easily.

“We have increased the response time to our customers and improved the efficiency of our employees with this technology,” Waters said.

The system can manage both the data network and voice communications. It offers secure instant messaging among colleagues, advanced voicemail, fax and call recording features.

The presence icons indicate when any team member is speaking with a client or is engaged in a meeting. This facility is available to the controller from wherever there is an Internet connection.

The ROI will be fast and available within a few months. The network and PSTN voice quality is optimum and the installation is rapid and convenient to use. Zultys’ IP-PBX systems offer a system with pre-loaded software which does not require additional or external servers. It offers support to PC, Mac, and Linux equipment.

Alliant DataTel is a Zultys dealer providing telecommunications and computer networking integration services suitable for small and medium sized companies. The service, products and solution resources help companies realize their corporate goals.
Alliant helps in the planning, designing and implementation of robust IT infrastructure.
