Virtual PBX reportedly announced four new pricing packages for its hosted private branch exchange services. With the newly announced packages, Virtual PBX (News - Alert) will extend its services to small and mid-sized businesses with quality services at affordable rates.
The newly priced packages are said to be the cheapest among the available service providers in the hosted PBX market and are expected to result in 60 percent savings for customers. The company’s introductory offer includes a 14-day trial period for new customers who would like to try before subscribing for new services.
According to Tim Tyler of Bigwig Office Inc., a user and reseller of Virtual PBX services for small businesses, a hosted PBX has little to no upfront capital or hardware expense and is a cost-effective option that can enable new companies to enter the market or help cash-crunched firms stay in business.
“With this announcement, Virtual PBX, long known for the quality of its service and wide range of features, has made hosted PBX an even more compelling solution in today’s tough economy,” Tyler said.
The four new plans include the Virtual PBX 5 package charging users a monthly fixed rate of $9.99 with 5 extensions and 100 free minutes. Every additional minute will then be charged about 7 cents per minute. While the second package, the Virtual PBX 10 charges a fixed rate $24.99 per month, it allows for 10 extensions along with 500 free minutes beyond which every additional minute is charged at about 6 cents.
The third plan, the Virtual PBX 20 charges users $44.99 on a monthly basis and provides 20 extensions. While free minutes are increased to 1,000, each additional minute costs nearly 5 cents. The last among its newly announced packages is the Virtual PBX 50 which charges users with a monthly flat fee of $94.99 and provides 50 extensions along with a whopping free 2000 minutes. Users going beyond this free talk limit are then charged more than 4 cents for every additional minute.
“Virtual PBX has always been the forerunner and visionary in the hosted phone services market,” said Paul Hammond, chief executive officer of Virtual PBX. “First we created the industry, then we went on to innovate the best assortment of features, and today we introduced the markets best pricing. Our high growth rate and technology development have reduced our costs and we’re excited to make it less expensive for clients to use our system,” Hammond added.
