TelcoBridges Addresses Entry Level Media Gateway Requirements

TelcoBridges (News - Alert), a hardware and software supplier for telecom system integrators and solution developers, have announced the arrival of its Tmedia TMG800tm.

TelcoBridges, who is participating in TMC’s (News - Alert) ITEXPO in Miami, Florida, in booth #915, brings its newest media gateway that brings the company’s carrier-grade features to service providers with lower-density requirements, like supporting remote locations, or delivering hosted services.

The TelcoBridges Tmedia TMG800 is an extensible media gateway that, according to company officials, meets the needs of service providers, system integrators and solution developers looking to cost-effectively expand the edge of their network footprint, or quickly deploy value-added services.

With a capacity from one to a maximum of eight T1/E1/J1 interfaces—up to 256 universal VoIP channels— the capabilities of the 1U form factor TMG800 can be extended with expansion cards for VOIP and software license upgrades for each additional T1/E1/J1 port.

To celebrate Tmedia’s 2008 Internet Telephony (News - Alert) Product of Year Award and the introduction of the TMG800, TelcoBridges announces the “TDM-for-Free” program.

“We’ve designed the TMG800 Media Gateway (News - Alert) to bring carrier-grade quality to a price point associated with lower density products,” said Gaetan Campeau, President and CEO of TelcoBridges.  “There is nothing else in the industry that can match the features, quality, flexibility and price point of the TMG800 in the lower density market.”

Recently, TelcoBridges held a free Webinar entitled: Leveraging The Benefits Of High Density Media Gateways!

The ITEXPO (News - Alert) is being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center. TelcoBridges is a Gold sponsor of Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO — the biggest and most comprehensive IP communications event of the year. ITEXPO will take place in Miami, Florida, Feb. 2 to 4, 2009, featuring three valuable days of exhibits, conferences, and networking opportunities you can’t afford to miss. Don’t wait, get up and go!
