Siemens introduces New OpenScale Professional Service and Solution Suite

Siemens Enterprise Communications (News - Alert) has announced availability of new OpenScale Professional Service and Integration Solutions that are designed to work in conjunction with the company’s OpenScape UC application.

The design objective is to facilitate the integration of UC technologies with existing business applications. They build on Siemens’ (News - Alert) OpenSOA approach, which is designed to allow for deep business process integration into virtually any existing line of business application. Customers can choose different levels of integration from a suite of professional services and integration solutions that have fixed prices.
OpenScape UC Application is positioned as a unified SOA-based, enterprise-grade UC platform. It can be integrated into virtually any IT ecosystem, including Microsoft (News - Alert), IBM and Cisco environments, as well as any workflow application.

The latest release enables integration with Openfire, presence automation with Outlook Calendar, an integrated Netviewer Web conferencing and multi-party instant messaging solution. Customers now have more options on how they access their communications solutions (e.g., Web clients, mobile devices like Blackberry and Apple’s iPhone (News - Alert)) and less overall applications to manage.
In addition Siemens has created new OpenScale Professional Service and Integration Solutions. These service offers are designed to make the process of implementing, integrating and securing UC solutions simpler and also to make costs more predictable.
