As TMCnet
reported earlier this month, Covad has made increasing efforts to extend its reach into this space. Last November the company launched its indirect sales channel with the new Covad Integrated Access service. This new online quote and order system is designed to streamline pre-qualifications and speed the sales process.
The Integrated Access service was designed to combines affordability and reliability with a new simplified ordering and provisioning process that lets our sales partners concentrate on selling, not paperwork, said Heinz at the time.
The NetVanta 7100 provides a 24-port Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch and, as with all NetVanta products, comes with an industry-leading warranty and best-in-class technical support.
In addition, ADTRAN recently
teamed with MetaSwitch (

Both ADTRAN solutions are designed to fully support Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for interoperation with the MetaSwitch call agent and media gateway. These new capabilities are expected to provide customers with proven TDM interoperability. This should help to support existing networks and advanced VoIP and IP Multimedia Subsystem (
