One Communications Intros OneSolutions Hosted IP PBX Solution

One Communications (News - Alert), a privately-held, multi-regional integrated telecommunications solutions provider in the United States, has announced the availability of its new OneSolutions Hosted IP PBX (News - Alert) solution.

OneSolutions Hosted IP PBX is a network-based offering. With this solution, SMBs can replace their premise-based key or PBX systems, or upgrade their hosted legacy Centrex systems.

In addition, the latest offering also integrates voice and data services in one convenient package, delivering robust IP-based features and functionality.

“SMBs demand a single, simplified solution that meets all their needs from equipment, to converged voice and data communications, to ongoing service and support – all at an affordable price,” Randy Ritter, vice president of marketing at One Communications, said.

With the Hosted IP PBX service, the company delivers on those needs with a flexible, cost-effective solution that minimizes upfront capital expenditures, streamlines ongoing network modifications and management, and improves overall communications efficiencies, Ritter said.

OneSolutions Hosted IP PBX provides customers with an end-to-end single vendor solution, including hardware; voice, data, and Internet services with optional MPLS VPN wide area networking.

“With OneSolutions Hosted IP PBX, SMBs gain access to the robust features they need while outsourcing the design, installation and ongoing maintenance of their phone system - enabling them to lower their overall networking costs, improve IT productivity, and focus more on running their business,” Joanne Hynes, director of product management at One Communications, said.

OneSolutions Hosted IP PBX utilizes a network-based solution supported by customer premise equipment, including a Cisco Integrated Access Device or Integrated Services Router and the customer’s choice of IP handsets from Cisco, Aastra (News - Alert) and Polycom.

The solution offers two seat-level packages: basic and premium. The basic package features traditional calling features such as caller ID name and number, call waiting, call forwarding, direct inward/outward dialing, and hunting, and also voice mail and unified messaging.

In addition to all the features available in the basic package, the premium package also includes advanced capabilities such as find me/follow me, incoming call manager, and live message screening.

OneSolutions Hosted IP PBX is currently available across One Communications regional service market, which includes 18 states from Maine to Wisconsin to West Virginia, plus the District of Columbia.
