Altitude Software, an independent contact center solutions vendor, have announced that Altitude Software is now a new Digium (

Alert) Premier Solutions Partner.
An agreement between the two companies, it marks a major addition to the growing portfolio of advanced business solutions that run on top of the Asterisk (
News -
Alert) open source telephony platform and Digium’s telephony gateway cards.
With this partnership, contact centers will be able to benefit from the highly scalable, resilient and cost-effective uCI customer interaction management suite that works together with the Altitude vBox communications platform, a rich, enhanced SIP server that allows SIP to SIP and ISDN to SIP connectivity in contact centers throughout the world.

Such anticipated results include blended multimedia services to maximize interaction handling and reduce operational costs; outbound voice campaigns with advanced predictive dialing and answering machine detection to increase outcomes; self-service voice applications; and Altitude Scripting Language to build advanced agent desktop applications.

Digium
announced last week the addition of Steve Burcham as Vice President of Operations and Quality. The appointment is expected to bolster Digium’s promise in developing a quality telephone system for the industry and to improve its cliental services.
The partnership with Digium is not the only activity for Altitude Software as of late. The contact center solutions provider last month announced that it will
host its multimedia contact center solutions on TelCentris’ unified communication service delivery platform (SDP). The companies will bring together Altitude’s uCI Customer Interaction Management suite and TelCentris' state-of-the-art hosted IP-PBX (
