Epygi Partners with TOPEX for Mobilink IP Solutions


European telecom equipment manufacturer and NGN solution provider TOPEX (News - Alert) has partnered with Texas-based Epygi (News - Alert) Technologies, Ltd., in order to provide Epygi developers with TOPEX Mobilink IP applications.

 
Under the terms of this contract, TOPEX will be providing Epygi end users with the Mobilink (News - Alert) IP complementary solution for Quadro IP PBX. By utilizing Epygi Quadro IP PBX, clients of Epygi can now reap considerable savings on calls from IP to cellular networks and vice versa.
 
According to TOPEX officials, its Mobilink IP interconnects IP PBX or hybrid PBX with cellular networks. This GSM/UMTS (News - Alert) small capacity gateway equipment featuring VoIP interfaces supports up to two cellular operators. Apart from being an ideal solution for interconnecting IP telephony with mobile networks, it is also an ideal solution for cost reduction and quick return of investment.
 
In addition, TOPEX Mobilink IP works with any IP PBX (News - Alert) or Softswitch based on SIP or H.323 protocols and also supports NAT traversal.
