Raleigh, N.C.-based business lender CapStone Bank has selected voice and data communications provider FeatureTel (News - Alert) to connect its two offices.
In a strategic move, CapStone Bank opened a loan production office in Cary, N.C., and then decided to hire FeatureTel for its service.
Rex Scott, senior vice president at CapStone noted that the service provider was able to successfully meet its business telecommunications needs with VoIP services since they began operations back in 2006.
Explaining the rationale for their decision, Scott said that they initially chose FeatureTel because of its Hosted PBX (News - Alert) system. They believed that its technology would be in place and ready as they grew and said that the company delivered on its promise.
Over the years, the bank has seen tremendous growth and all this time FeatureTel has supported them with its services. In addition to providing and supporting their voice communication services, the communication provider works as the carrier for the bank’s information technology solution on the same T1 line between the Raleigh and Cary offices.
According to Scott, FeatureTel’s customer support has been very important for the success of the relationship and finds them to be convenient and far less expensive. The bank also likes FeatureTel’s local customer service and technical support.
“Our organizations are very much alike. Their CEO called the other day to see how things were going -- which is very much like something our CEO Steve Ogburn would do with our customers. We believe in a local presence and supporting the local market, and so does FeatureTel,” Scott said.
