KVH Chooses Sonus Networks to Expand its Next-Gen Core IP Voice Network


Sonus Networks (News - Alert), Inc., a provider of network transformation through IP communications technology, recently announced that it has been chosen by Japanese managed IT services provider KVH Co. Ltd. to deliver and expand its core IP voice network and secure SIP trunking to IP-PBXs.


This new solution from Sonus offers scalable border security for IP connectivity. Also, it leverages the Sonus platform's centralized routing and diverse media support to manage the hosted enterprise traffic using the KVH network.

KVH offers its services to fulfill the IT infrastructure and connectivity needs of financial services and major enterprises across Japan. In addition to that, KVH has expanded its geographic reach to vital financial cities including Hong Kong and Singapore for addressing the mission critical requirements of the financial community. The global service capabilities of KVH are getting strengthened by effortlessly leveraging its partners' backbone and local access provider networks.
