The Motorola Scalable Dimetra IP switch solution is an enhanced IP based TETRA solution that is highly flexible and scalable to integrate voice, messages, mobile applications and image transmission on a single network. Offering investment protection, the solution provides outstanding features, such as the TETRA Enhanced Data Service (TEDS) readiness of the system which adds longevity and makes it future ready.

Recently, the company announced that it has won contracts to provide TETRA (TErrestrial Trunked RAdio) digital radio communication networks to Delhi International Airport, Bangalore International Airport Limited and GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited. The new airports in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, will now get scalable Dimetra IP-based mission critical networks from Motorola, which will replace the existing analogue radio network used by domestic and international airports in Delhi.
